General insurance
For the property and liabilities you carry.
From your home and car to liability and more specialised risks, we design cover around what genuinely needs to be insured.
The whole picture
What genuinely needs to be insured?
Not everyone needs the same cover. We start from the property you have, the liabilities you carry, and the financial cost a significant loss would represent.
From there, we can see which cover is genuinely relevant to your own situation.

The covers
Your property.
01Car & motorcycleCompulsory third-party liability covers damage that may be caused to others. Depending on the vehicle and your needs, cover such as own damage, theft, fire, natural events, glass breakage, roadside assistance and legal protection can be added. The right level of cover depends on the vehicle’s value, use and profile.
02Home & propertyCover for the building and/or contents against risks such as fire, earthquake, flood, water damage, theft and other covered causes, depending on the programme. The building’s sum insured should reflect the rebuild cost, not the property’s market value.
Liability towards third parties.
01Personal liabilityCover for third-party claims arising from unintentional bodily injury or property damage that may relate to daily life, the home, or other personal liabilities.
02Professional liabilityFor professionals, liability may relate to claims connected with their activity or the services they provide, depending on the profession and the programme.

02PetCover may include veterinary costs from illness or accident, surgery, and liability for damage the animal causes to third parties, depending on the programme.
03TravelCover may include medical costs abroad, repatriation, trip cancellation, delayed or lost baggage, and traveller’s liability.
04Fine art & valuablesSpecialised cover for artworks, collections, jewellery and other items of particular value, with an insured value determined according to the item and the programme’s terms.
05Cyber insuranceCover for specific digital-risk incidents, such as online fraud, identity theft or account compromise, depending on the programme.

How we design cover
The right sum insured. Clear terms. Support when you need it.
The value of an insurance policy isn’t judged by the premium alone. It’s judged by whether the cover is properly designed and its terms are understood before it’s ever needed.
- The right sum insuredWe calculate the value that genuinely needs to be insured, based on replacement or rebuild cost where relevant.
- Clear termsWe explain the core covers, deductibles and exclusions so you know what the policy includes.
- Support at claim timeWe remain available for practical support through the process of reporting and managing a claim.
Sum insured
The value of cover starts with the right calculation.
In this case, the property is insured for less than its real value. This is called underinsurance.
Underinsurance doesn’t only matter for total losses: compensation usually follows the same proportion on a partial claim too. In the example, a €30,000 claim would be settled at roughly €20,000. That is why the sum insured is worth revisiting. An illustrative example; application depends on the policy terms.
FAQ
Good to know.
Do I need home insurance if I have no mortgage?
Home insurance isn’t only tied to a mortgage. It can protect the building and its contents against significant loss, depending on the covers chosen.
What does “deductible” mean?
It’s the amount, or part of a claim, that stays with the insured, according to the policy’s terms. The deductible you choose can affect both the level of cover and the premium.
Does car insurance cover the driver themselves?
Compulsory liability mainly covers third parties. Additional cover, such as driver personal accident, may be considered depending on the programme and your needs.
Why isn’t a home’s insured value the same as its market value?
Because building insurance is usually based on the cost it would take to rebuild it, not the price at which the property could be sold.
Which general insurance policies do I need?
There’s no single package for everyone. We look at your property, how it’s used, your financial obligations, your liabilities towards third parties, and the cost a significant loss would represent.
Your property is one part of your overall financial picture.
